Sisu Theatre will be holding an online auction Feb 20-23 to help with the expenses to support the programs and productions for 2025.
There are a few very exciting things coming up this year. Sisu Theatre, in association with the Sointula Museum, will present two short plays, The Sointula History Plays. Part 1 will focus on the founding of the community from 1901 up until the split of the colony and the dissolution of the socialist agreement in 1905. Part 2 will highlight those families that stayed and built the community that still thrives today. The combined plays will explore the first 50 years of Sointula. Coming July and August 2025.
Sisu Theatre also proudly presents the Script Club. Starting in February, Sisu Theatre will host a monthly play reading series at Coho Joe Cafe, admission by donation.
Readings
The funds raised by the online auction will support these activities. It will help with the costs of producing the plays, including costume, prop and set materials and construction, promotion and marketing expenses, venue rental and technical equipment.
