JUMP ABOARD THE JOY TRAIN!
Jump Aboard the Joy Train! is a 4-hour workshop for adults that introduces basic concepts of clown as a performance mode and a potent source for creating in discipline. No previous clowning experience necessary - just a willingness to have fun, laugh and explore how playing, taking risks and embracing failure can lead to a myriad of creative possibilities.
These four classes (April 7, 14, 21 & 28) will offer exercises and improv games (nutrients) to keep your acting tools healthy and vibrant. Explore and connect with others in a safe and inclusive environment. No performance pressures. We’ll touch on useful techniques that will be helpful not only for your next rehearsal process, but also your next, or first, performance.
No experience necessary.

Character Study of George Orwell by Bruce Burrows
It is 1927, Eric Blair, the future George Orwell, is back in London and has left the Burma Police to try and become a writer. He meets with his long time school friend, Cyril Connolly, and they retire to a pub for a drink. Connolly is just getting started as a book reviewer. Orwell has written nothing. They order halves of bitter and sit in a corner, by the fire.
