Sointula has a rich history of community theatre and music which involves many people pulling together to create an event. For decades I have been an active participant in this arts and culture scene. I have been involved in choir, musical ensembles, several plays and Winterfest. Much of the work has been original and I have long appreciated the generosity of our island audience.
